In this post i am gonna to show you how to add 768 x 90 leaderboard between header and post area on the home page or post page of your blog. You may have seen many blogs that have installed Adsense or any other widget/gadget below their blog's header.Most of them use the 768x90 unit ad banner in their banner and it is a perfect place to place your ads and earn more money from your blog.But what is you can't see the "Add a Gadget" Link" in your blog's template layout ? Here I have a solution for this problem we will fix this with editing some codes inside your template.
Cross Column Gadget
In the screenshot below no have cross column gadget.
In the screenshot below have cross column gadget option.
How to enable Cross Column Gadget Option
1. Go to your Blogger Dashboard>> Template>> Proceed and press CTRL+F and find the following code. (how to find code using search bar)
showaddelement='no'/>
2. Change Showaddelement='no' to Showaddelement='yes' as shown above :
You can now save your template and Go to layout page where you will be generated with the new 'add a gadget' option.
There may be other areas you can add gadgets to your layout that are blocked.The code i changed is 'showaddelement' which breaks into 'Show Add Element'.Search your template for every occurrence of 'showaddelement' and switch 'no' to 'yes'.
